Quicksink Bomb: The US and its allies have conducted the world’s largest naval exercise near the Hawaiian Islands in the Pacific Ocean. The threat of this military exercise named ‘Rim of the Pacific 2024’ has reached Asia across the Pacific Ocean. For the first time, the US Air Force’s B-2 bomber aircraft also participated in this military exercise held in early July. This aircraft practiced destroying a surface ship equipped with long-range weapons. During the exercise, the B-2 bomber succeeded in destroying a ship weighing 39 thousand tons with the help of a low-cost guided bomb. Experts have described it as very important in any future conflict between China and America.
The US Air Force has named this bomb Quicksink, which can sink any ship in water instantly. This bomb was tested on July 19, when the B-2 bomber sank the USS Tarawa in the Pacific Ocean during an exercise. Tarawa was a retired ship of the US Navy, 820 feet long and weighing 39 thousand tons. It was the size of a small aircraft carrier. This test has proved that with the help of the B-2 stealth bomber, America can sink any ship weighing more than 25 thousand tons in a single attack. The US Navy’s Third Fleet, which led this exercise, has issued a press release giving details. It has been told that with the help of this cheap bomb, any marine threat can be averted.
Quicksink’s power is equal to that of a torpedo
Actually, the B-2 stealth bomber is the most modern aircraft of the US Air Force. According to the US Air Force, its security features are very secret. It can be flown at a very high altitude, this aircraft is capable of keeping itself out of the reach of radar. The sensors of the B-2 aircraft can take pictures of the battlefield from a very high altitude. According to the US Air Force, this aircraft can be given the capability of relatively cheap and 2 thousand pound bombs continuously launched from a submarine.

Analysts believe that quicksink bombs are much cheaper than submarines and torpedoes and cover more area than a submarine. With the help of this bomb, maritime attacks can be accelerated. The US Air Force first tested the quicksink bomb in the year 2022, during which a surface target was destroyed in the Gulf of Mexico. Experts claim that the power of America’s quicksink bomb will force China to think before making any mischief in the Pacific Ocean.
